Snow Day!
Here in the Northeast we are having a snow day! Time to break out the boots, puffy coats, and furry hats! I am wearing my favorite comfy clothes today, leggings and a warm, soft sweater. Perfect for cuddling up with my two favorite puppies!
Stay warm but be sure to go outside and play in the snow!!!
Boots (DSW) leggings (Victoria's Secret). Vest (Banana Republic Outlet, similar here). Cowlneck sweater (Gap Outlet, similar here), furry hat (Gap Outlet, similar here), gloves (Coach - Sold out, buy here).
Brody and Blu love playing in the snow!
After playing, I made muffins to warm up, but Brody thought they looked yummy so....
Enjoy the snow day!

Valentine's Day Pink + Glitter Manicure
Yay, it's almost Valentine's Day!!!! What's better than a day devoted to pink, red, flowers, candy, and LOVE! Whether you are single, dating, or married, this is the perfect day to spoil yourself and everyone you love! I am starting early with a pink and glitter manicure! Paint your nails pink, wear pink all week, and be sure to give lots of hugs and kisses to all those you love!
To get the look above: Essie "Muchi Muchi" for all nails and Essie "A Cut Above" to add glitter to my ring fingers. I love the glitter polish but it goes on very clear so must put a few coats of pink underneath, shown here I did 3 coats of pink on all fingers. (I would put glitter on all nails but feel that is too childish now that I'm 30 :( ). Rings are courtesy of Chloe + Isabel.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day themed Kate Spade inspired glitter coasters, DIY.
I love all things Kate Spade and all things glitter so I went crazy over the Kate Spade glitter coasters. I decided to try to make my own glitter coasters for Valentine's Day. These would make great presents for your favorite Gal'entine's!
Supplies needed:
Large Ball mason jars (only need the lids, I will save the jars for another project :) )
Pink or red glitter (preferably the large flake kind)
Mod Podge acrylic sealer
Mod Podge gloss
Cork board roll (adhesive)
Scissors
Paint brush
Trace jar lid onto the back of the cork board roll. Cut out the circle traced. Peel sticker off back of cork roll and firmly press cork onto jar lid.
Using a paint brush, paint Mod Podge gloss onto cork, the mod podge will act as glue. While still wet, pour glitter on cork until the entire area is covered. Let sit for 10 minutes. Tap coaster upside down to remove excess glitter. Spray Mod Podge adhesive gloss onto glitter covered coaster, be sure to do this step outside. Let dry 10 minutes.
While drying, pour yourself a cocktail and get ready to use your new sparkly coaster!

Jewelry Frames - DIY
"People will stare, make it worth their while" ~ Harry Winston
Jewelry is too pretty to sit in a drawer all day. Why not frame jewelry like a picture?. I made my own jewelry picture displays using 8x10 frames I found at TJ Maxx, both cost less than $20.
To make, I removed the glass and cardboard from the frames. On one I inserted an 8x10 Artist's Loft burlap panel found at Michael's (in store only).
In the black frame I inserted an 8x10 Elmer's foam board also found at Michael's (in store only).
Then I used sparkly push pins to secure jewelry in place. Be sure to download Michael's coupons before shopping! I saved 20% off!

Behind The Scenes - Farm Girl Fabulousness Cover Photo
Hi, I'm Tia and am totally new to blogging. I love fashion and beauty but am a little self conscious and camera shy. I love to take daily outfit shots but they are typically self taken not full body shots including my face. So in posing for this cover photo I was a little out of my element. And you can't tell from this photo but our barn is surrounded by snow and it was 25 degrees out!
I bought a new dress to wear for my cover photo but went to put it on and the ink tag was not removed!!!! I frantically searched by closet for a Plan B outfit. I like to find new ways to wear old clothes so I pulled out a fancy taffeta little black dress and decided to restyle it for a casual photo (plus it's way too cold out to wear a sleeveless dress and stomp through the snow in heels). I tied my favorite plaid shirt into a knot at the waste and threw on some leggings and boots, and of course fancy jewelry! I think the end result turned out well!
Little Black Dress, Loft - old (similar here). Plaid top, American Eagle. Boots - old (similar here). Necklace, Chloe + Isabel.
